Permanent hair removal
For many years now men & women have yearned for a solution to permanent hair removal, in recent years technology has evolved and today you have an endless choice of solutions so were are going to provide you with some hair removal solutions that actually work, millions of people each day are searching for a miracle cure for permanent hair removal and in recent years this has been quite an expensive procedure so what we have done is listed only products and methods that work and are within the everyday persons budget.
Is there any hair removal product that is permanent ?
This is a very difficult question to answer with either Yes or NO, each person is different and we are all built with different DNA so there is no way to say any product can guarantee a 100% success rate. What we do know from scientific studies is that laser hair removal is the most efficient form of treatment for permanent hair removal. Permanency does occur with most patients but not all, laser treatments for hair removal actually kill the hair follicles, where as if you pluck your hair this is only a temporary solution, creams and liquid solutions can not kill hair follicles which is where the hair generates from in the first place.
hair growth has 3 main stages, for laser hair removal to work you must strike at the first stage of new growth this stage is called the “Anagen stage” should you undergo treatment within the other 2 stages “Categen(stage 2) and Telogen(stage 3)” the outcome is less likely to be fully permanent, make sure you consult your therapist on what stage your at before signing anything, most companies are very experienced at determining what stage your at but as this market is appealing to so many people there are unfortunately some cowboys out there.
There are many contributing factors that will influence your growth stages such as genetics, metabolism, age, weight and some medications will alter the rate of growth your hair grows at. Each of your hairs on your body is naturally at a different stage within your growth cycle the trick is to catch it when the largest percent of your hair in the desired area is at the same stage to maximize the hair removal results. Personally i have undergone laser hair removal and i highly recommend this method if you are looking for permanent hair removal.

Acne scar removal
Acne is a large and depressing time of most of our lives, if your were lucky enough not to suffer from acne then you can skip this article, but for many of us acne is a part of our lives that we wish we could forget about.

Acne Scar Before and after laser removal
Pictured above is a before and after image, this lovely young lady suffered from acne scars for most of her teens and into her 20’s before undergoing laser scar removal, as you can see the skin has been completely rejuvenated and there is hardly any remaining acne scar tissue Sarah can now go out in public without feeling like she is always being watched.
When considering a method to treat acne scars you have many options open to you however the most highly regarded acne scar treatment is laser removal so today we will provide some general information. Acne varies from person to person but in general there are 3 different types of acne:
- Mild Acne
Mild acne happens to the largest percent of people during their teenage years and is usually a passing stage and can be treated with pimple creams / acne creams.
- Moderate Acne
Moderate acne is the type that is usually red with white clusters surrounding them, inflamed (papules) are often referred to as pustules and go beyond you average acne & pimples, with moderate acne general creams and potions are not very effective and sometimes irritate the effect area resulting in stimulating the growth of bacteria causing the problem.
- Severe Acne
This form of acne “Severe Acne” is extremly painful, itchy and will be full of puss. These are not your average pimple growing bigger and faster but rather a cysts that fills with bacterial fluid, only a small percent of us will suffer from this form of acne and generally this is the type of acne that will cause severe scaring.
Is there anything you can do to prevent acne scars ?
With a little precaution you can reduce your chances of facial scars from acne, this may sound a lot easier said then done, you will need to avoid picking at the effected area scratching at your acne will only make it worse. Most people try squeezing their acne / pimples and this is will only make things worse in the long run all tho it may provide you with temporary relief it does contribute to a build up of scar tissue making treatments less effective, it’s recommended that you use an anti bacterial face cleanser and stay away from normal soap.
Make sure you visit your GP / Doctor as early as possible as they will be able to inform you of the severity of your acne and should also advise you of any cream treatments available and he or she can also conduct a simple skin and or blood test to help identify and problems that may be causing your acne to so aggressive.
What treatments are available ?
Steroid treatments can be used for more extremes of acne conditions these are injected under the skin and will flatten out and areas that have depressed skin, general pimple creams and acne creams are only really helpful to those who have mild forms of acne, chemical face peels are suited to those who have moderate to extreme acne this doesn’t come without a little pain but has had great results in the past and the most recommended treatment for acne is laser removal.
Acne removal by laser treatment (laser removal) has proven results against acne and is regarded the top treatment for severe acne but can be used to even mild acne. Not only does this kill off the bacteria causing acne but within the one appointment you can also have your scars touched up by the same laser surgeon.
